Explore the beauty of watercolor painting by joining local artist Lyda Plemons.
The theme of this class is botanical wild carrots, otherwise known as Queen Ann’s Lace.
In this 3-4 hour class, you'll receive step-by-step instruction from Lyda on how to paint botanical flowers with a graduated wash in the background. Participants will increase their knowledge and skills in watercolor, aerial perspective, and skill development. This is for the intermediate painter.
You will have the choice of an 8x10 or 11x14 paper.
Class date: Monday, July 22, 10am- 2pm. This is a 3-4 hour class.
Cost is $55 and includes all materials and instruction. You are welcome to bring your own paints and brushes if desired.
Maximum 9 students.
Instructor: Lyda Plemons is a local painter who has studied with nationally known artists and studied art at Maryville College. She is proficient in several mediums including oils, watercolor, acrylic, and drawing. She is an experienced teacher of adult and children’s painting classes.
