Let’s paint a charming “Blossom Bear” with mixed media and easy acrylics! Beginners’ Class with Gaynell Lawson

This is a beginner’s class – no experience or “talent” required! We’ll paint this charming bear in a patch of wildflowers on an 8 x 8 stretched canvas ready for you to take home!

All materials, brushes, paint & canvas supplied; Featuring instructions and “how to” information for paint, brushes, canvases, and paper; Learn about Gesso, Posca paint pens, finishing a painting; and how to design, sketch (or not), and paint your own way!

About the artist/instructor: I’m a juried artist at Townsend Art Gallery, doing mixed media, acrylic, and watercolors. I love to paint whimsical animals like this bear, as well as abstract florals, and birds with personality! My art has been featured at Vienna Coffee Shop in Maryville and on Smokies Live Blog.
